A bold, single-varietal red wine from the volcanic hills of Lazio. Crafted by Principe Pallavicini, this 100% Petit Verdot displays an intense, dark ruby red color with violet hues. The nose opens with rich aromas of ripe blackberries, dark plum, graphite, and delicate notes of lavender and black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied and robust with firm, velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, lingering finish. Excellent paired with prime steaks, slow-cooked beef, roast lamb, rich game dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
